"An incredibly profound and beneficial course. Faye was magical the whole time. Faye’s method and guidance was very clear and she masterfully took us through the process step by step. I loved every moment of it. 10/10 would definitely recommend!"
- OJ Raj, Creative Strategist
This is especially true for nervous system well-being, particularly when dealing with an overwhelmed or chronically stressed system. Large, infrequent efforts won't work. What does work is doing a little, often. By building daily, regular, and consistent practices, you gradually increase your system's capacity, enabling it to deliver the health, happiness, and success you desire and dream of.
It's not about knowing what practices to do; it's about consistently doing them. Knowing all about oral hygiene won't give you a bright smile unless you put toothpaste on the brush and use it daily. Understanding the benefits of exercise won't get you fit unless you lace up your sneakers and hit the gym regularly.
"The course is unlike any other I've been on before. An excellent blend of Mind-Body Science, Psychology and Somatics, and I really enjoyed the integrative approach. I had many insights, and the course allowed me to feel more in control of my thoughts and of my emotions. My body feels more peaceful, more nourished, and I’m less anxious about the future."
- Joanne Brinsden, Psychology Student
Once upon a time, the commonly held view was that it takes about 21 days to form a new habit. This idea was popularised by Dr. Maxwell Maltz, a plastic surgeon in the 1960s. He observed that it took his patients approximately 21 days to get used to their new appearance after surgery. These observations led him to generalise that it takes about 21 days to form a new habit. That idea stuck around for a long time even though it wasn’t supported by behaviours, changes and results of the rest of us who weren’t undergoing plastic surgeries and getting used to our new appearance!!
Fast forward to 2009, and more recent research by University College London revealed that forming a new habit takes significantly longer than 21 days. It can take up to 66 days for a new habit to become automated, more than double and nearly triple the previously believed timeframe.
This new research tells us that forming new habits requires consistent practice and application well beyond the 21-day idea that has lingered since the 1960s. So, if you’ve found it hard in the past to establish new habits and then beaten yourself up about it, thinking you lack willpower or dedication, it’s not you. It's simply that the information you were basing your expectations and time commitments on was incomplete.
Now that you know about the magic number of 66 days, perhaps you'll approach your intentions and goals with more kindness and patience—whether it's starting a new exercise routine, adopting healthier eating habits, or rewiring your internal system so that you can sleep better, think more clearly, and boost your mood, focus, and motivation.
"I now seem to be waking up a little earlier and enjoying that experience. I seem more refreshed in the morning and in a better mood. You have given us so much to work on - but I hesitate to call it work because it is so easy and enjoyable."
- Christina Wylie, Registered Nurse
This extended period allows for the natural ebbs and flows of life, giving you the flexibility to adapt and maintain your new habits, ensuring they become a permanent part of your routine. But knowing the timeframe isn't enough; accountability is key to truly implementing and sustaining these changes.
Our program features an effective accountability network to ensure the consistent application of what you learn over the 66-day period, locking in the change. This system keeps you on track and delivers powerful results, providing continuous support throughout the program to help you integrate and apply what you learn. Because remember, it’s the doing that creates the change, not just the knowing!
"The benefits became evident from the very first lesson just through simple awareness, and by the end of the course you’re left wondering how different life could have been had we learned these things in school."
- Mark L., Senior Flight Attendant

Here are some common concerns that might be holding you back from getting started
Great question! Our program can complement the work you're doing with a mental health professional. Always consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new program. We focus on practical, experiential techniques to support your nervous system, which can enhance the benefits of therapy and medication.
We meet live online via Zoom for weekly calls over 9 weeks. Additionally, you’re expected to check in with your accountability buddy more regularly to keep up with the daily micro-practices that will create lasting change.
You’ll need about 15 minutes each day to engage in the practices and activities. We’ve designed the program to fit into even the busiest schedules, ensuring you can integrate these new habits without feeling overwhelmed.
Our weekly live calls are on Tuesdays at 7:30pm NZT. You can use this time converter to check what time that is in your time zone. If you can't make the live calls, don't worry! The times for the drop-in office hours aren't assigned yet, and we can be flexible with these to ensure it's convenient for most participants. We’re committed to finding a way to support you, even if you can't join live. Since COVID, we've become skilled at navigating time zone complexities for our online events. Plus, all live calls are recorded and available for you to catch up on at any time. Additionally, you have access to the Facebook group, your accountability buddy, the drop-in office hours, and unlimited email support. We’re here to ensure you get the most out of the program, no matter your schedule.
No worries! Life happens. If you miss a day, just pick up where you left off. Our program is designed to be flexible and forgiving, with plenty of support to help you get back on track.
Yes, you can! This program is designed to complement and enhance any of your your existing practices. It provides additional tools and techniques to support your nervous system and overall well-being, which should amplify the benefits of everything else you’re doing.
You’ll receive continuous support through live coaching calls, regular drop-in office hours, a private Facebook community moderated by Faye, and unlimited email support.
If you fully engage in all aspects of the program, complete the required tasks, and don't experience a notable increase in your calm levels, we'll provide a full refund – and you can keep all the resources and materials. If you have the intention for change and follow the protocol as guided, there is no reason you won’t experience true, lasting change. For peace of mind, we offer a risk-free guarantee: if you don’t get the results you’re seeking, we’ll refund your investment.
Drop-in office hours come from my days in academia when I'd have my door open for students to drop in and discuss anything, whether related to the course or other matters they were struggling with and needed support on. This was very popular with my students, so I've decided to carry it forward to my online coaching programs as well. It’s a unique feature of our group coaching programs, and clients regularly comment on how helpful these sessions are. These sessions are about 60 minutes where I'll be available online, and you can drop in for as little or as long as you like or need, or not at all. You can come to all, none, or pick and choose. There will be no teaching or new content, just coaching support and guidance. It’s your time to ask questions, seek advice, or get the help you need.
Regulate is not just another course on meditation, breathing, or yoga. It’s an experiential, practical program focused on action and implementation. It draws on the latest research from Polyvagal Theory, Trauma-Informed Healing, Somatics, and Neuroscience, with a unique integrative approach that includes a touch of Lawand magic.
Absolutely, we do! The investment is $997 if paid in full, and that comes with a private session with Faye valued at $247. Alternatively, you can choose to make 3 payments of $375. If you see the value in the course but need more flexibility around payment, please get in touch at [email protected], and we’ll help you come up with something that works. We never wish for finances to be the reason you don't sign up for something you want to do or know will help you.
